The perfect canyoner wears a 5 mm wetsuit, a harness, special shoes, a rock helmet and is equipped with a special backpack with rope and snap hooks. With this equipment he travels through canyons, gorges and river beds, even impetuous ones, challenging currents and the most inaccessible passages.

It is not a sport for everyone, it certainly involves some dangers and requires adequate physical preparation; it is strongly recommended to not venture alone and without an adequately trained guide.
