The rebirth of a vineyard in the Venetian Dolomites – Alpago
Katja and Lorenzo Zanon are two cousins: her, born in Alpago (Italy) and him, born in Burgundy (France), who are animated by common passions for great wines, in particular Pinot Noir, and for the homeland of their family in the Venetian mountains of Alpago.
From this passion, the shared idea of restoring the town of one’s ancestors Codenzano in the municipality of Chies d’Alpago BL to its ancient splendor was born.

Thanks to an exceptional microclimate and land suitable for the cultivation of vines, since ancient times Codenzano has been a land of grape cultivation with excellent results, witnessed by vintage photos and all the terraces made with dry stone walls that can be found in the hills, in an area that is now almost totally overwhelmed by wild vegetation.
