Fardjma Società Agricola Cooperativa
FARDJMA is a synonym of ALPAGO LAMB, an organic product of excellence. This is a typical breed of the Alpago / Cansiglio Plateau in the Belluno area, where about twenty members of the Fardjma Cooperative raise these sheep.
The Alpago sheep is reared using traditional and semi-spaced techniques, grazing in the Alpine meadows from spring to autumn from 400 to 1,500 meters above sea level, without the use of silage or feed as prescribed by the rigorous Fardjma / Slow-Food Presidium production regulations. The Alpago Lamb is marketed under the FARDJMA brand, it is a niche product, light lamb, raised by the natural breastfeeding of the mother in the pasture. A tender and compact meat, with the right balance between fat and lean, enhancing the scent of aromatic herbs from the pastures of ALPAGO.
It is the typical dish par excellence, available at all affiliated shops and restaurants.

you can taste Alpago’s lamb at: Locanda San Lorenzo and Locanda San Martino.
FARDJMA is also ALPAGO virgin wool. The Alpago sheep gives us a soft and compact wool, pleasant to the touch, capable of maintaining warmth and at the same time keep its lightness. The yarn was once hand-knitted for family use, today Fardjma has carefully created unique and natural garments, available in shops and farmhouses in the province of Belluno.
