CAI Alpago is based in San Martino, a small village located in the municipality of Chies d’Alpago in the province of Belluno, and it has 430 members. The vast alpagot basin located at the south-eastern end of the Belluno Dolomites area is a natural, wild and unspoiled cradle within which our association is representing a reality made up of people with a passion for the mountains, and a care for territory and traditions.
With its 25 paths that wind for over 80 km within the nature and history of the landscape and a high route that runs through all the peaks of this natural amphitheatre, the CAI Alpago offers mountain enthusiasts and lovers of tranquillity a perfect place to immerse themselves in genuine emotions and feelings filled with contact with nature and with yourself.

The activities promoted by CAI Alpago have as their main focus the authentic, conscious and safe attendance of the mountains.
The proposed experiences range from maintenance of the trails to hiking, ski mountaineering, youth mountaineering and mountain friendly and safe activities, excursions and trekking in the Alpago area and also outside the basin.
